Iran
I was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. Each visit feels like stepping into a living tapestry of history and culture. Iran boasts breathtaking architecture, from the intricate tilework of Isfahan’s mosques to the ancient ruins of Persepolis, where the echoes of the Achaemenid Empire still linger. The legendary hospitality of the Iranian people often leads visitors to be welcomed into homes, sharing meals and stories. Vibrant bazaars, brimming with spices, carpets, and handicrafts, offer a sensory feast, making it easy to lose track of time while exploring the colorful stalls.
Iran’s diverse landscapes offer a paradise for adventurers. From the rugged peaks of the Alborz range to the serene shores of the Caspian Sea, outdoor enthusiasts will find endless opportunities for exploration. The country’s rich culinary heritage, featuring aromatic stews and freshly baked bread, delights many travelers. Whether wandering through Yazd’s narrow streets, admiring Shiraz’s beautiful gardens, or sharing tea with locals, a visit to Iran provides deep insights into a culture that values tradition, artistry, and community. I have visited 26 of Iran’s 31 provinces. Below is a list of major cities I have visited since 2013.
