Kashan
Kashan, a hidden gem on the desert’s edge, greeted me with its tranquil beauty, rich history, and traditional Persian architecture. As I explored the magnificent Tabatabaei and Borujerdi Houses, I was mesmerized by their detailed stucco work, vibrant stained glass windows, and graceful courtyards, reflecting the luxurious lifestyles of wealthy merchants from centuries ago. The Fin Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its flowing fountains, towering cypress trees, and fragrant blossoms, felt like a serene oasis in the arid landscape. Wandering through the bustling bazaar, I encountered the warmth of Kashani hospitality and the exquisite craftsmanship of local artisans. My journey to Kashan was a voyage through time, uncovering layers of history, culture, and beauty at every corner.
